LDKS
Basic Training Student Leadership or we also can say it LDKS in Indonesian. LDKS in our school SMAN 3 Bandung was held on Thursday 21 until Saturday 23 September 2017 at Pussenif, Supratman Street. We learned and coached about leadership and guided by the Army and OSIS PK.
We are divided into several classes. but unfortunately me and my three other friends (amira, azka, dinda) separated from my classmates because we are 4 early absences in my class. Then, my 3 other friends and I joined with x mipa 7.
During those 3 days, of course we brought the necessary personal items. Many of us brought a lot of staff. Then when they brought it just like they was drowned by their own backpack. Include me, i was brought 1 big backpack and 1 medium Tote Bag. We are required to bring black and blue dongker clothes, training clothes, sportswear, moslem clothes & psas and other additional items.
The first day, we are informed about the division of classes, the division of barracks, as well as the greeting of the important parties, but more dominant material on leadership and state defense. Many sources come from experienced TNI officials.
The material contains about the kinds of leadership, how to be a good leader, to defend the country, and many more.
Our first lunch session at LDKS was very different, impressive, and full by count. We must be quick to form a line of food. Then, we were taught singing while waiting for the meal.We were required to eat as quickly as possible, then exchange it with friends around.
The first day finished at ±10.30 pm, we were sleeping in each bust. However, when we were still sleeping. Suddenly a siren sounded very loud and we were instructed to dress as quickly as possible.We had to line up in front of the barracks quickly. However, many of us have made mistakes. So we got punished.The punishment is physical such as push ups, sit ups, etc. We did the punishment in the open field and under the stars that were many that night. How fun. After all is done, we are allowed to sleep again.
The second day, we were awakened at 3.45 am to perform the tahajud prayer. As for those who do not pray can wait outside the mosque and the air was very cold. After that, the time for cleaned up and breakfast. We were the line practice until the evening.That day there was a Friday prayer break so there was a chance to bathe.
In the afternoon, we did "Caraka Malam" in the Heroes Cemetery. We had to walk to get to the destination.We arrived at the destination at 06.00 pm. Then we do Shalat Magrib first, and we Made big circle at the field in front of the Heroes Cemetery . We were instructed to used disguises with materials that can discolor our face.
We started the mission with 3 people per group. But me and three other friends (Amira, Azka, Dinda) got 4 people per group because the number of class members that did not fit.
We must carry a mission that should not be conveyed to anyone along the way inside the Heroes Cemetery.Before entering, we are notified of the rules when running the mission. A thrilling moment, we went to the Heroes Cemetery. Firstly, it felt very goosebumps. It was very dark at that time. No lights. We are only accompanied by stars and moons in the sky. Fortunately, it was a very bright night.
We have to go through many posts in that mission. Each post has many challenges to go through. After all the posts were unfolded, we arrived at the end.Unexpectedly, my friend misjudged the question so we were given a punishable push up position on rocky ground for a little while.
Waiting for other participants to finish. Many of us are asleep, including me. Sleep with asphalt and under a star-filled sky. It was an unforgettable experience. Drowsiness defeats the discomfort with the condition at that time.
Wake up at 00.00 after all it was done and we got an evaluation.We did a campfire. In return, we had to walk to Pussenif meanwhile we were very tired because that very hard day. Berjalan melalui jalan raya yang tenang dan dingin.
The morning of the third day. We did outbound. There were some outbound posts that must be through. The game were like the training of soldiers such as climbing mines, ax throwing, crossing mines, etc.
Finish at 11.00 pm, we continued by watching the film G30S / PKI together in front of the barracks and there was a pause for zhuhur prayer.Because we were tired, many from us were sleepy while watching the movie. But when the movie climax. Almost all awake because the part is curious. We do not watch until the end. Because that film is a long duration.
At 03.00 pm we do the LDKS closing ceremony. We are presenting some kind of appearance that indicates we have done LDKS.LDKS was officially completed. We were awarded a certificate. Many parents are waiting. Between feeling happy because we had finished LDKS and feeling sad because we will leave the barracks.
Many new and exciting experiences during LDKS. Especially when we face the army's habit of educating hard. However, everything paid off with the experience gained. I am happy and enjoy during LDKS and now, I very miss with that LDKS moments.
